About this event

This is a FREE event open to all library staff working in Ohio.

The shifts in the ways we provide services and programs to our communities have been drastic over the last few months. Library staff are doing their best to find creative solutions to complex problems, and many have implemented or amplified online programs and tools.

In this free 90-minute webinar, we’ll discuss ideas, options, questions and best practices to help you be thoughtful and informed about using and sharing copyright-protected material with patrons. Participants in this session will have the opportunity to:

• Explore tools for determining the copyright status of a work

• Review the four factors of fair use and how they can be applied

• Examine common copyright questions and scenarios

Who Should Attend:Any library staff member involved with programming or outreach, and anyone with an interest in the topic.
